- Welcome
Welcome to my OKR online training. In the following modules I will teach you step by step the OKR method and philosophy in a practical way.
- Best Practice Company
We start our training with best practice companies, dedicate ourselves to the question what makes companies successful and what „agility“ means for them.
- Basics of OKR
In this module I will familiarize you with the OKR basics. You will learn how to define goals and get an overview of the entire OKR process. We will go into the OKR process in more detail in the following modules.
- Long-term orientation
OKR’s focus is on the implementation of the corporate strategy. This can only ever be as good as the underlying long-term orientation. In module 4 we dedicate ourselves to the development of a vision, a mission and values.
- Medium-term orientation
In Module 5, we look at strategy development and setting breakthrough goals. In addition, we see how OKR can be reconciled with day-to-day business and look at the Business Strategy Canvas in detail.
- Features of OKR
In this module, we look at what is important when developing OKRs. First, we look at the question of „why“ and then go into the individual characteristics of objectives and key results.
- Development of OKRs
In the seventh module, we dive into practice and deal with the concrete development of OKRs. It is important that you experience and understand the approach to developing OKRs. Only then will you be able to develop good OKRs yourself.
- A ready OKR set
The OKR set is not yet complete, so in this module we clarify two questions: 1. How do we know how well we have achieved our OKR? 2. what specifically do we have to do now to achieve the OKR?
- Top Level OKR Planning
Now it is time to apply what you have learned to your company situation. We start with OKR planning at top level and horizontal coordination. In addition, we will deal with the X-Matrix in an excursus.
- OKR Alignment
The OKR Alignment module is about how to align your entire organization with OKR. In order to use OKR correctly, we need to take a close look at the company’s situation and structure.
- Possibilities of OKR Alignment
In this module, you will learn about the main approaches of OKR alignment using various examples from my practice in order to derive the appropriate approach for your company.
- The OKR planning process
In Module 12, we’ll look at how OKR workshops work at different levels, how you can design OKR Big Room planning sessions with a large number of participants, and how to best manage the scheduling process.
- OKR implementation
Now it is time to implement what we have learned before. We deal intensively with the OKR implementation process, the corporate culture at OKR and the PDCA cycle.
- OKR Weeklys
In this module, we will look at the understanding of the role and the process of weeklys. In the process, I will provide you with further tools, methods and a variety of tips so that you can maximize the impact in the implementation phase.
- Review of the achievement of objectives
Of course, the goals that have been set also need to be reviewed. Therefore, in this module we ask ourselves the questions: 1. how well have we achieved our goals? 2. what does this mean for the OKRs for the next quarter? 3. what do we do if we have not achieved our goals?
- Learning and adaptation
This is one of the most important building blocks in the implementation of OKR. On the one hand, to continuously improve the OKR process. On the other hand, to establish OKR as a routine throughout the company. In this module, you will learn how best to design this.
- Introduction of OKR
In this module, we address implementation strategies, the role of the OKR manager, personal OKRs, influencing factors, and common mistakes.
- OKR Manager Certification
In the last module, we talk about what happens after the course. In addition, you can finally get certified as an OKR Manager.
