Hoshin Kanri: What is that?

Hoshin Kanri is a management method for aligning the entire organization around challenging breakthrough goals and ensuring long-term competitiveness.

The strategy process is given a clear direction (Hoshin) and an implementation plan (Kanri) by deriving the most important breakthrough goals from the vision and corporate strategy and cascading them with the involvement of all employees while coordinating them across divisions.

Dr. Daniela Kudernatsch is one of the pioneers of Hoshin Kanri. She has written down her experiences in numerous publications and bestsellers.
