Welcome
 

Welcome to my OKR online training. In the following modules I will teach you step by step the OKR method and philosophy in a practical way.

2.

Best Practice Company

We start our training with best practice companies, dedicate ourselves to the question what makes companies successful and what “agility” means for them.

3.

Basics of OKR
 

In this module, I will familiarize you with OKR basics. You will learn how to define goals and get an overview of the entire OKR process. We will go into more detail about the OKR process in the following modules.

4.

Long-term orientation

OKR’s focus is on the implementation of corporate strategy. This can only ever be as good as the underlying long-term orientation. In Module 4, we devote ourselves to the development of a vision, a mission and values.

5.

Medium-term orientation

In Module 5, we look at strategy development and setting breakthrough goals. In addition, we’ll see how OKR aligns with day-to-day operations and take a detailed look at the Business Strategy Canvas.

6.

Features of OKR
 

In this module we will see what is important in the development of OKRs. First, we address the question of “why” and then go into the individual characteristics of Objectives and Key Results.

7.

Development of OKRs

In the seventh module we dive into practice and deal with the concrete development of OKRs. In doing so, it is important that you witness and understand the approach to OKR development. Only then will you be able to develop good OKRs yourself.

A ready OKR set
 

The OKR set is not yet complete, so in this module we clarify two questions: 1. How do we know how well we have achieved our OKR? 2. what specifically do we need to do now to achieve the OKR?

9.

Top level OKR planning

Now it’s time to apply what you’ve learned to your business situation. We start with OKR planning at top level and horizontal coordination. In addition, we deal with the X-Matrix in a digression.

10.

OKR ALIGNMENT

The OKR Alignment module is about how to align your entire organization with OKR. In order to use OKR correctly, we have to take a close look at the company’s situation and structure.

Possibilities of OKR Alignment

In this module, you will learn about the main approaches of OKR alignment using various examples from my practice in order to derive the appropriate approach for your company.

The OKR planning process

In Module 12, we’ll look at how OKR workshops work at different levels, how you can design OKR Big Room planning sessions with a large number of participants, and how to best manage the scheduling process.

13.

OKR Implementation

Now it’s time to put into practice what we have learned before. We deal intensively with the OKR implementation process, the corporate culture at OKR and the PDCA cycle.

14.

OKR Weeklys

In this module, we will look at the understanding of roles and the process of weeklys. In the process, I provide you with additional tools, methods and a variety of tips to help you maximize your impact during the implementation phase.

15.

Review of the achievement of objectives

Of course, the goals set must also be reviewed. So in this module, we ask ourselves the questions: 1. how well did we achieve our goals? 2. What does this mean for OKRs for the next quarter? 3. what do we do when we have not achieved our goals?

16.

Learning and adaptation

This is one of the most important building blocks in the implementation of OKR. First, to continuously improve the OKR process. Secondly, to establish OKR as a routine throughout the company. In this module, you will learn how best to design them.

17.

Introduction of OKR

In this module, we address implementation strategies, the role of the OKR manager, personal OKRs, influencing factors, and common mistakes.

18.

OKR Manager Certification

In the last module we talk about what happens after the course. In addition, you can finally be certified as an OKR Manager.

Online course

Also, or especially when working with multiple service providers, OKR can help get everyone “on the same track”.

Books on OKR mostly serve as a basis and provide a good foundation or understanding of the method. However, after reading it, it is usually not yet possible to introduce OKR independently in the company. The OKR online training has a much higher level of detail and more comprehensive practical examples than common books on the market. After completing the training or with the certification as OKR Manager, you will have all the tools at hand to successfully implement OKR in your company as well.

The 18 modules of the course include explanatory videos as well as simply structured templates, checklists and best practices that contribute to the understanding of the OKR method and can be used for follow-up.

Is OKR only suitable for certain industries?

Yes, you can also arrange personal coaching sessions with me in addition to the online course. Simply select this option in the order form and I will contact you immediately.

The size of the whole company or number of team members does not matter for OKR. OKR can also be applied in selected organizational units or as a pilot project.
